Hedwig Schmidt, brought to life by Darren Criss and Taye Diggs, captured for the production’s campaign.

I was asked to create the advertising campaign for the Tony Award-winning Broadway Musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which featured former Glee Star Darren Criss as well as the first-ever African-American Hedwig, Taye Diggs, who Vogue described as “perfect.” This artwork appeared on the theatre and Playbill as well as billboards, subways, and taxis all around New York City. It also appeared in print publications like The New Yorker, The New York Times and New York Magazine. I directed the commercial, which was broadcast throughout the continental United States.
