A virtual reality tour through the creative process of Gucci-commissioned artist Ignasi Monreal,
led by a real-life Icarus.
I worked with Gucci to create a 360° VR film promoting its holiday collection, for which the fashion house commissioned artist Ignasi Monreal to paint a series of original artworks to adorn Gucci garments. As Ignasi’s paintings were already complete by the time my filmmaking began, I decided that the story should be told through the lens of Ignasi’s creative process. Since one of the key aspects of Ignasi’s Gucci artwork was Greek mythology, I brought the narrative to life through a real-life Icarus — wings and all.
