Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s Coromandel screens, which adorn nearly every wall in her rue Cambon apartment, this collection of haute joaillerie captures the visual themes and patterns found in the screens. To further cultivate the present themes, I structured the narrative for this collection into four parts: East Meets West, Fauna, Flora, and Mineral. Within these chapters, I created sixteen films, curated the historical references, and wrote the copy for both the online experience as well as all social platforms. Within the entire CHANEL Instagram handle, a post from this project continues on as one of the most-viewed posts.
